This document explains the permissions our mobile app requires and why they are necessary for optimal functionality.

- Access your goals and progress

- Receive important notifications

- Purpose: Profile picture updates
- Document goal progress
- Share visual updates
- Scan QR codes for quick connections
1.3 Photo Library
- Purpose: Upload existing photos
- Save progress pictures
- Share achievements
- Customize profile
1.4 Notifications
- Purpose: Goal reminders
- Community engagement alerts
- Achievement celebrations
- Important updates
1.5 Calendar (Optional)
- Purpose: Set goal deadlines
- Schedule milestone check-ins
- Sync important dates
- Plan accountability meetings
2. Optional Permissions
2.1 Location (Optional)
- Purpose: Find nearby community members
- Join local goal groups
- Discover local events
- Location-based goals
2.2 Contacts (Optional)
- Purpose: Find friends using Nakyma
- Invite contacts to join
- Build accountability partnerships
- Share achievements
3. How We Protect Your Data
- All permissions are used only as described
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- You can revoke permissions anytime
- We never share permission data with third parties
4. Managing Permissions
- iOS: Settings > Privacy > Nakyma
- Android: Settings > Apps > Nakyma > Permissions
- You can change permissions anytime
- Some features may be limited if permissions are denied
